Restaurant Schema Generator
Fill in the restaurant below to get a Restaurant JSON-LD block with its address, phone, hours and price range. Then add its cuisine and menu link, shown further down.
Example details are filled in. Replace them with yours; the code updates as you type.
More details (optional)
Copy the cells, header row included, and paste here. Columns: name, street, city, state, zip, phone, url, hours. Tabs or commas both work.
Paste it into the page's <head>, then check it in Google's Rich Results Test.
Cuisine and menu, added by hand
Google's guide for restaurants recommends servesCuisine and menu. Add them inside the block, after "priceRange": "$$":
{
"servesCuisine": "Italian",
"menu": "https://www.example.com/menu",
"acceptsReservations": true
}
This example opens 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays, until 11:00 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday: three hour entries. A kitchen that closes for the afternoon gets two entries for each day.
Use CafeOrCoffeeShop, Bakery or BarOrPub when it describes the place better than Restaurant.
Questions
Should I mark up the whole menu?
A link in menu is enough for most restaurants. schema.org has Menu and MenuItem types for a full menu, but the link is simpler to keep accurate.
What priceRange should a restaurant use?
Dollar signs, from $ to $$$$, are the usual style. See the priceRange guide.
We have three locations. Do I fill this in three times?
Use the list mode: paste all three from a spreadsheet and each gets its block. The multiple locations guide explains where each goes.
