Hotel Schema Markup
A hotel uses the Hotel type, a kind of lodging business. The block below is filled in for an example hotel with a front desk open 24 hours; add check-in and check-out times as shown further down.
Example details are filled in. Replace them with yours; the code updates as you type.
More details (optional)
Copy the cells, header row included, and paste here. Columns: name, street, city, state, zip, phone, url, hours. Tabs or commas both work.
Paste it into the page's <head>, then check it in Google's Rich Results Test.
Open 24 hours
A front desk that never closes is written as opens "00:00" and closes "23:59" for every day, which is how the example's three hour rows are set. A guesthouse with set desk hours writes those hours instead.
Check-in and pets, added by hand
{
"checkinTime": "15:00",
"checkoutTime": "11:00",
"petsAllowed": false
}
The price range "$120-180" says what a night usually costs. Use LodgingBusiness for a bed and breakfast or a campground when Hotel does not fit.
Questions
Should I mark up room prices and availability?
Not in this block. Live prices and availability go to Google through its hotel feeds, not page markup.
Can I add amenities?
Yes; schema.org's amenityFeature takes a list of features such as free parking. Add only what the hotel really has.
Should a hotel's restaurant get its own block?
If it has its own page and hours, yes: a Restaurant block on that page.
